Studygram

In this blog post, I will highlight some of my favorite Study channels and Instagram pages as well as give you some reasons why you should follow one if you are in #college ,high school or even self teaching like me.

While I'm well done with school and having to study, I never stop learning. For example, I am currently teaching myself #graphicdesign so that I can create #stationery for you guys soon...more on that later!

While watching some YouTube videos on stationery hauls, I came across some of the coolest #study channels. Study platform's (blog's, Tumblr, YouTube and Instagram accounts) are where creators showcase the way they study and highlight awesome stationery finds.

Benefits of a Study Platform?

  • Learn tips on how to study more effectively

  • Insight on the best stationery products to study with

  • How to take notes

  • Best planning practices for a more productive study session or day in general

  • Learn calligraphy

  • College tips

  • How to choose classes

  • How to be consistent and productive

  • Real time "study with me" sessions

And so much more!

So let's dive a little deeper into these benefits. Below I'll give you YouTube #recommendations for each section. Enjoy!

Study more effectively

Studying can be an uninteresting daunting task but, when you are strapped with tools and knowledge on how to study the right way, it can be fun and rewarding. When you actually have strategies for the way you study, you'll get more out of your session. Check out TheStrive Studies for awesome motivational real time "Study with me" videos.

Stationery products and reviews

A good way to find your next set of stationery items is to watch a plan with me/ study video. Most times the creator will tell you what products they are using and you get to see in real time how the products perform. A good YouTube channel to check out for this would be AmandaRachLee.

Note taking

My biggest struggle in school was note taking. I was horrible at it and half the time I wouldn't do it because it was more likely I'd get more out of reading the whole lecture and reading assignment over and over, than I did from my own note taking.

I quickly learned that not only was this time consuming but it also opened the door for laziness and not being productive which in turn led to not doing well on tests and labs.

A good way to combat this is to find a cool #YouTube channel that gives a lot of study and note taking tips. Some good places to start would be Studyquill and Studytee.

Planning and staying productive

It's always good to have some go to content to keep you #motivated and out of #procrastination mode. For me, that content is by Lavendaire . I absolutely love this channel because Aileen gives some really good tips on how to stay positive, relaxed, motivated and #productive all of which are things I believe contribute to determining your success as a student and there after.

Check out Lavendaire's video on How to Stop Procrastinating and Get Work Done.

Lettering and Calligraphy

This is a good skill to have if you are going into the world of bullet journaling or #bujo if you're really serious about that journaling life :)

This is also a good skill if you want to make your own stationery or branding one day as hand lettering and #calligraphy are really popular in those niche's.

It's also a fun way to spruce things up in your planner and another way to get you into a mood of actually wanting to work. When you can make things pretty, why not do it? This is a good way to get some product reviews as well because most times the creator will tell you everything they're using and you get to see the results in real time.

Some good places for tips and inspiration for hand lettering and calligraphy are AmandaRachLee, Teela Cunningham and Shayda Campbell to name a few.

College tips

Not only are you able to snag some great note taking tips, study with me inspo and productivity over all, you can also get some great tips for college such as choosing the right courses. A lot of people are also willing to share their experiences so that you can learn from things that worked or didn't work for them.

A great example of this would be a video by Mariana's Study Corner.

I really hope this blog post was helpful and has got you in the mood to start studying and being productive. These tips can also be used if you are already in the working world and need a bit of pick me up to finish those projects for your job.

These are just some of the YouTube channels out there that cover these topics. I highly encourage you to watch as many as you can.
